Seaview Melaka Marina, The Shore Hotel and Residence

27 Oct 2019 - Drove past the melaka marina and manage to get a sight of the big ship cruise.... Didn't go down for a photo selfie check in cause everyone is tired. We saw a group of tourists waiting for the arrival of their ship. A beautiful sight in life. But just a quick stop to see the scene and nothing much you can do here.

The Shore Hotel and Residences

Super Long queue upon check in. Waited 40 mins with 7 people in front of me, and 3 counters open for check in. I would suggest they rather have an automated self check in machine will be better to attend to the high peak season.

And I didn't know swiss garden hotel is sharing the same pool, gym, sauna facilities with the shore.

Both hotels located in the shore shopping mall, but we have no time to go to the mall at all.

Cause kids change into their swimsuit and rush for the playground pool to have some fun.

The adult pool is separated from the kid's pool, located the other side. Kids enjoy the playground pool where it is better than we pay for giant water theme park.

You can also use their gym and sauna facilities.

For the room space, it's ideal for family with young kids. Cause they offer us super single beds x 2, and one mini coach where it can accommodate one young kid.

I'm surprised they also have the electric stove ready for some quick cooking I guess.

Balcony can't be locked, bit worried on safety. Kids can go in and out without adult's supervision.

Call the housekeeping and front desk from 4-5pm,then 9pm,but no one attended to my call. Front desks did apologise when I check out and told them the issue.

28 Oct 2019 - The Shore skytower
Little did I know that we need to pay extra for the shore sky tower sky view cause I thought it is included in the shore hotel stay, the sky view check is and video didn't mention much about it. Else I would have opt for others hotels with various choices at that point.

42 floors, the tallest sky building in melaka, with glass flooring and we can see fishes from the top glass floor.

However, we didn't get inside due to we are unaware of the tickets fees and rainy day in the morning... So in short, we only see every corner of the sky View and didn't go in to have a sky view at that moment.

We were awed by this 5 meter tall of a replica optimus prime, using recyclable scrap metals which made it to Malaysia book of record. Weigh at 2750 kg, located outside the shore shopping gallery drive way, near to the melaka River. You will definitely drive pass through the robot statue, also a part of the exhibition of the toy museum inside the shore shopping mall.
