Monakay restaurant, oug - african nigerian cuisine

Image
9 Aug 2018 - This week is so damn exotic searching for non Malaysian food. Yday tried this nigerian African food recipe at monakay oug. This is how they serve, every plate is big portion for 2 pax, charging you in between rm25-30 per plate. We ordered: Nigerian fried rice: basically a version of Chinese fried rice or mamak nasi briyani. Vegetables, meat, beans, raisins. Great for kids. tomato stew with spicy chilli padi 👉nigerian tomato stew with meat (recommended for spicy foodie hunter) : I love this so my Ch2 because of the crazy spicy kick from their spicy chilli padi. Basically they fry and stew fresh tomatoes into paste, add on curry, thyme, onions. However, the restaurant serves all. Mixed meat of chicken, beef, fish, all deep fried each serving. And later on just pour the sauce on top of the meats. This is their style. Prefer the stewed meat and only One type of meat being served. You can choose Only one type, or you mix all meats Together. 👉egusi sou

蜀國印象 ·火锅 Shuguo Yinxiang Restaurant - Authentic China Steamboat/ Hotpot

Image
1 Aug 2018 - The last I have tried china hotpot steamboat was probably in a steamboat shop at Puteri, Puchong. I don’t feel good about china steamboat, as the Ma La 麻辣 sauce. The soup wasn’t nice yet I ate the peppercorn by accident, making my whole tongue numb and feel uneasy after that. This incident was few years back in 2009 when they first started the ma la china cuisine in KL. So when I was invited to china steamboat again, I was bit sceptical. Worried I had the bad food experience as per before. Ivlyn took me and my aunt to this restaurant in Sunway Velocity by the name of 蜀國印象 ·火锅Shuguo Yinxiang Restaurant. We do come to Sunway Velocity quite often, just that we always opt for those F&B outlets located inside the shopping centre. Little did I know that they offer so many restaurants and bars at the outdoor area on first floor – mamak, china food, Meja bar, Korean bar, to name a few. We were there at 830pm, bear in mind, it is still crowded in the weekdays! I told

Swensens Malaysia - ice cream delight

Image
27 August 2018 - Swensen's is the #1 preferred ice cream brand in America! What is amazing when I tried the Swensen's ice-cream is the real nuts and fruits adding on my mint/ strawberry fudge ice-cream. Since Swensen's has been in Malaysia over a decade, Swensen's Malaysia offers friendly casual-dining set up with a wide selection of hearty food, desserts, beverages, and ice cream cakes. Lots of western food, for example light bites, deep-fried finger food, pasta, chicken chop, main course, etc. The price is not that bad though, as in probably an ala carte pasta costs around RM16-20? While we always face hot and humid weather in Malaysia, it is good to taste a real ice-cream at an affordable price. For example, I get the double scoop at only RM5, should be having the promotion at this time. Their hospitality is great too, welcoming and synonymous with sweet memories of good time spent with loved ones.  https://www.facebook.com/SwensensMalaysia/

Ordered set menu of bbq fish rice plus drink at rm14-15. Basically we can't complain, it has been a whilesince me getting such a big bowl of white rice. Student portion, student price, simple food. Taste average but more towards to the environment. Most cafes or restaurants closed at 10pm the latest. Was teaching hiit class in ikigai mini studio floor where they do photography for cosplay, pets etc. They have some modern props set up as well. Ikigai also offer quite a lot of dance, yoga, fitness class, fully utilize the space.
