6 July 2018 - Maison cafe in pavilion has never fail my expectations, thanks though the quality food choices.

Classic cafe with bits of royalty and cozy set up.

Portobello mushroom soup with truffle cream. (rm25)


Mango prawn salad rm28 - Thai green mango, Thai sweet basil, lime.

Simple roast chicken drumsticks rm19 (what? 😳) 




Seafood aglio Olio rm35 with generous prawns, mussel, squid, fish cube, kaffir lime. 


Baked corn nachos rm16 with beef, salsa, guacamole, jalapeno, sour cream. 


Famous for its artisan dessert, get indulged with hazelnut parfait rm20 with finely grated hazelnuts and enriched dark chocolate and antioxidants raspberry and blueberries on top. 


Rm180+- for 3-4 pax consumption. Good price value, food presentation, portion, and quality ingredients used.

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.

Both are really jokers who can talk a lot of good jokes with you.
