30 Dec 2017 - Are you game for artisan modern dessert? Intro you, Maison, the new artisan sandwich and dessert at pavilion. Not only these, they gonna serve you all the 4-5 courses you need:


fresh oysters, Ocean trout, pasta, main course, scones, pastry, coffee with alcohol. 


Psss: They serve my chocolate chips cookies warm and crunchy!

Basically you gonna be stomach full with so much choices in the menu. Was a dilemma choosing what to have, too many good stuff in the menu!




We ordered the poison apple, super shiny handcrafted sugar craft apple by poison Ivy (just saying). Inside is the apple mousse, not the typical whipping cream, together with apple chunks.





Hazelnut Parfait, so this is the one make me finish up one whole plate clean, as in clean. Hazelnut parfait, a special chocolate cake featuring a hazelnut liqueur. It tasted just like the Ferraro Roche, the enriched chocolate and the sweet indulge of hazelnut bites are my favorite. Always feel good with real nut bites, instead those blended creamy types. Well, I still have tooth to bite the nuts, LOL.



Next, the caffe medici was a surprising twist. Double shot espresso, chocolate syrup, fresh orange peel topped With whipped cream. The orange you can squeeze into the medici, or treat it as a sweet taste, after the strong cup of Medici. 




So if you are hunting new artisan sandwich, desserts, and coffee, go to Maison! The new food artisan in town...

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.
