KL Forest Eco Park - Jungle in the city
Canopy walk |
The highlights: 200m tall canopy walk, solid wood and steel. Mostly tourists, family, Philippines (off on Sunday) can be seen posing on the canopy walk.
Facts: forest reserve in year 1906, 9 hectares remain.
Forest trail: easy, good for family.
There were few trails at the entrance.
Canopy walk: 10-15 mins (to and fro)
Penarahan and jelutong trail: 20mins (one way)
all ready bricks and roads, stairs all for family. Hardly have your shoes getting muddy and dirty. Simple for kids.

Camping site but not in good maintenance |
Reach camping site with a pondok and big head field but no maintenance for toilet or camping facilities.
Exit to KL tower is closed |
We have to stop at camping site and return to the entrance, as one short canopy walk with red fencing heading to Kl tower, closed its exit door. The other trail near to the camping site toilet (toilet is locked) is not in good condition, might not be too safe.
There is another 'main entrance trial'at the left upon entrance we didnt try.

Total Time spent: 1 hour to n Fro.
Opening hours: 8am -6pm everyday.
Special of the day: it is the first hiking trip for kids and husband. 😳
Delicious local food restaurants with reasonable price near to the bus stop / upside down museum.
Remark: confusion in gps. Don't go to the road towards telekom or aia building, as there is no parking available. More towards the office entrance. Park near Kl tower will do.
