33 Blue Room PJ - Jazzy vibes, good western food, good price

8 April 2018 - Celebrating jac B-Day. She brings us to 33 blue room, pj. OK is a total stranger area for me nowadays, as I only search places near to me for food hunting. But you don't want to miss 33 blueroom. Not visible in shopping area, Seems 33 blueroom was built on a spacious factory land industries area. 

They spent a lot on their rustic wooden industrial elements, jazzy vibes, romantic dim round lights hanging in these two floors restaurant. 

What's surprising is that they manage to design one private cigar and wine lounge for VIPs. I would say least 1 million for renovation.




As if you get to enjoy fine food but at an affordable price, like rm30++ for a simple pasta is a good deal in high spending city like pj.

Mushrooms soup rm23 is too salty for me. However fresh mushrooms drizzled with olive oil.
Refreshing Salad - bacon and egg rm22. Sizzling bacon and aioli slices, lettuce, pear, crouton, Parmesan, Japanese egg style. 

Then, tried the Panzanella for the 1st time. Crispy bread (like big French toast), tomato, cucumber, olive, avocado, anchovies. 

Wine glaze sticky pork belly rm38, a simple grilling and simple herbs seasoning and that's the magic. Saffron potatoes, scallions, parmesan pepper migas.

 

Pasta - carbonara and salmon were delicious, above average. Just because I had better ones at home cooked by hubby! Else they are on par!

Pizza is without crust and thin thus savory, yet too much cheese.

Grilled chicken with soft juicy meats, bread crumbs spread, pear slices, mustard sauce.
Shocked was the average kitchen size to serve such a big restaurant and it's capable foreign kitchen staff can cook as good as it be seen in the food presentation. They hired myanmar chefs.
