16 Feb 2018 - It made me realize how long I didn't eat vegetarian food! Been years since I was pregnant back in 2014. Should start back the vegetarians days again, but what makes a delicious nice vegetarian restaurant? Cky Green tea vegetarian restaurant at Mantin. Almost thought we were eating real meat dishes.


A simple stir fried of loh hon zai (mixed vegetables) - cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, thin beancurd skin (fu Zhuk).



yam basket /fatt putt 佛钵 are extraordinary. Fried yam rings with cashew, dried chillies, celery, mushroom, carrots, snow pea, capsicum.

Best part is my kids eat and they don't know those are vegetarian. Both costs me rm56.

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.
