Half of the shop is owned by the expressoul restobar, so you can order fusion food and either drink like a local or just drink up a mug of beer!

The coffee is okay. Surprisingly the noodles they write ramen and it will be better to rename into chinese lamian, cause ramen represent Japanese noodle and it's not hainan style.

Long time never had this shredded mushroom porkballs. So far good enough for me, but not i Cant really say it's authentic hainanese or not.

Basically many choices and price is okay for an independent restaurant outlet in shopping malls.

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.
