6 Sept 2020 - We tried the newly opened chinese restaurant in the neighbourhood. 



Offering fresh garoupa at only rm68, it's definitely worth the price.



The beautiful braised fatty pork trotters with the qq sea cucumber in claypot is nicely done and good to go along with the rice. Succulent, sinful, tender. 


The Chinese sweet sour pork 咕噜肉 with the smaller pork meat cubes deep fried batter, a little sot sauce, tomato sauce and the usual cucumber, onions, pineapples.


I have seen some places, their deep fried pork was in dark color and it isnt appealing.
Ks offers fresh crab in the aquarium too. Should have some good fresh crab another day.

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.
