13 April 2020 - went to order food again... A clearer picture of the food. 



3 April 2020 - I am not a usual fan of wanton mee, because normally I don't like the alkaline water taste in wonton mee, which is applicable to also the yellow mee.

So, when one of the mommy Angel specially introduce this wanton noodles at Shamelin Cheras is available for takeaway, I was curious to try.

Saw their reviews briefly at Google page/ Facebook. Seems positive review. Heard Sam Kee Joe used to operate it's stall at ICC Pudu, but later on moved to Shamelin.

and since I have to meet my family for some family matters, I make a bulk order for a family of 6.

As you can see, the food presentation was just directly poured from the plastic bag. No time to place the food nicely, as the hungry people already started the meal.

So here are the few thumbs up positive reviews:

  1. The wanton wonton noodles texture is springy and there is no alkaline water presevatives smell.
  2. the portion is nicely done, given the reasonable price.
  3. Coffee is home-made, not 3-in-1 packaging. Again, surprisingly quite a hit of gao gao coffee.
  4. a one bite finish the mini wonton dumplings fillings wrapped with smooth wonton skin.
  5. The sweet thinly sliced lean meat char siew will be good enough to go along the whole bowl of wonton noodles.
  6. dry curry chicken - small chicken parts, with aromatic gravy curry with santan flavour. good enough to satisfy some spice craving.

Delicious and reasonable price. Takeaway they charge only extra 50 cents which is considered very worth the price during such MCO lockdown.



So far they offer free delivery across Klang Valley.

what can you ask for more? one plate of proper wonton noodles - vegetables, wonton, char siew, wonton noodles, mushrooms shreds cost only RM7.50!

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.
