KLG Taiwan fried chicken with indoor kids playground
8 Dec 2019 - I heard about this fast food chain from Taiwan that offers a spacious indoor kids playground in Sri Petaling.
Although the bigger Mcd or KFC does have slide for the kids to pass time, or maybe you are bored with the normal set...do consider to come over to KLG, a similar version of KFC concept.
2 floors, airconditioned with 1 private room good for bday parties. KLG can arrange a big yellow chicken mascot for your birthday parties.
Well, the first thing I did was let the kids play in the big indoor playground. KLG playground was in pink pastel color, big sturdy slide, and behind there was some mini slides, soft blocks, mobile horse ride, and seems even the floor was covered with chess checker or F1 car ride theme!
after 2 hours, and still don't wanna go, amazing.
KLG means Happy Chicken in Mandarin 快乐鸡. Originally from Taiwan since 1999, they offer quite handfuls items in their menu, for example:
If I do a comparison with Mc'd and KFC, KLG french fries is tastier than Mc'D, probably due to the types of potatoes they use, and also they sprinkle the seasoning and salt on top, instead of pre-mix the salt beforehand.
The chicken was also tasty, juicy meat, and they don't fry in bulk, probably due to manpower and they don't want to cook too many.
Soft drinks/ any other orange drinks can be refill by toping up RM1 using any size of the cup you have in hand.
Mashed potatoes wise, KFC mashed potatoes is nicer. The brown sauce is the main key to pair up with the mashed potatoes.
Well, among all, this is the most surprising dish. The chicken wrap is not the typical deep-fried chicken. They modify the recipe, as you have for first bite on the skin, the crunchy sound, later tasting the combination of tempura and crispy Salt and Pepper 盐酥 recipe. This also reminds me of the only korean fried chicken I had, only in Korea, never in Malaysia, cause they had modify the taste to suit local tastebuds.
Then biting all the way, you can enjoy the fresh lettuce, cucumber, mayoneisse sauce, KLG chicken wrap is strongly recommended.
Well, as per expectation, the parking in Sri Petaling is quite a headache. You may consider turning few rounds and if you couldn't find any parking, you may have to park at The Store Sri Petaling, my friend says there is a multi-level parking in Sri Petaling, you just need to walk to there.

However, the toilet cleanliness on the upper floor wasn't quite well maintained, probably some inconsiderate patrons and there weren't toilet tissues when we were using the toilets a few times.
Again, it could be a mited manpower issue.
