My favourite alcohol list - wine, prosecco, beer

24 Oct 2019 - It must be sad cause now I need to rely on my blog to search for what I have done in the past - drink, travel, and eating hunting session! >.<

Despite this, I would say my memory loss could be amazing, which is why now I need to compile my favourite wine list, haha!

I won't say I am a wine expert, but I like to go for the love blind wine dating instead. Which a wine supplier friend did tell me: "You gonna find the wine that you love, and just stick with it!"

I did found one when I have the chance to share the wine drinking moment with one of the directors of a big corporation (YTL) in Lot 10.

1) Pinot Noir - Cloudy Bay was definitely my 'love at first wine taste'.

For me, it was smooth and ripe texture which I just love it at the first sip. Long taste, delicate nature and red berry, medium bodied.

and then lately, as in Oct 2019, ehem, I found my second wine love. Introducing you...

2) Cabernet Sauvignon -

Juvé and Camps Cabernet Sauvignon Penedès Casa Vella d'Espiells 2013

Cabernet Sauvignon - Merlot. Thick and intence on the first sip. Mature aroma and intense palate. Later on, totally tipsy falling in love with this spanish wine.

3) canaletto montepulciano d'abruzzo. D.o.c
I bought from sapore Ampang.

Dec 2020 - adding in list number 4! I enjoy this wine at d'oro Cheras Business Centre.

ABBEY’S ROAD SHIRAZ
  • COUNTRY : Australia
  • REGION : South Eastern Australia
  • GRAPE VARIETIES : Shiraz
  • VINTAGE : 2018
  • AROMA : Nose of plums, ripe black fruits with subtle peppery notes.
  • PALATE :  Good balance, round tannins and strong desirable fruitiness, long lasting finish

So in conclusion, I like DRY wines, medium - full bodied wine. But yet, the same grape type, yet different way of wine tanning, production, etc. This is why each wine company produce same grape wines at their unique way. Only keep trying different wines, only I can tell I choose the grape types, or focus purely on the company's wine names and the quality.

And if you have anymore nice wine to introduce, do remember to tell me where to get the wine and we shall have some great wine tasting together!

Well, for beer - I like those with nice aromatic smell and smooth draught kinda feeling. So in my list, I super love Hoegarden and Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc. For commercial beer, I choose TIGER over Carlsberg.

For stout, I choose Guinness over Royal Stout due to the smooth bitterness in it.
