 11 June 2018 - Seems everyone storm into hulu langat for Thailand food nowadays.. Must be cheap land with simple lake view as more hidden Thailand restaurants located in this area, some are better than thai fish farm near lookout point.



Mom bumped and discover this hidden food gem - waterview.

Thai mix Chinese menu, offering more choices of local fusion food.



Geese, ducks, swan swimming by the lake. Spacious area,outdoor rooftop with simple fan. Culture shock for foodie experience.


1) Steamed jumping chicken with soya sauce Chinese style rm40. Thumbs up for its smooth chicken skin and juicy chicken meats. Rm


2) steamed groups fish with lots of gingers paste on top. While Chinese steam style with soya sauce is always a norm, the key is the freshness. And this is cheaper than the chicken. Rm30+-

3) homemade tofu also extra bonus with the minced meat on top, silky smooth tofu mix with beaten eggs. Rm15-20.


4) grandma fried egg with yellow wine also somehow different.first,they deep fry beaten egg till golden brown and crispy, set aside. Then, they stir fry gingers, add yellow wine. Pour ginger wine Into a bowl, only placing the eggs on top. Rm20+-


Average on the dry dark soya sauce pork slices. 


The seafood tomyam isn't that bad just that I had better ones. We spent rm180-190.

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.
