Restoran Tai Kee - Teo Chew Porridge, Papa Curry Rice Kedah




3 May 2018 - Brought to restoran tai kee as locals say the teo chew porridge food stall was a hot pick. 

 


Famous for its teo chew stewed duck, braised pork belly, salted vegetables, pork intestines. Basically everything was braised till soft, and will be garnished with some dark soy sauce upon serving. Pork meat and duck was nicely done,but decent, not wow factor. 



What wows me was I went to check out another stall named Papa curry rice from kedah, where they cook curry wild boar, curry pork, curry chicken, braised meats as well...all gravy curry and dark sky sauce base. 



I believe they use pressure cooker or slow stewed braised style. Delicious and go nicely with any white rice.
