If you have high demands to taste special Chinese food in Seremban, consider restoran regent, just opposite road of the negeri sembilan state museum. Air conditioned and staff in traditional Chinese wear. 200 tables are possible for wedding or special occasions.

We ordered the parent's day set rm620 nett for 7-8 courses for 10 pax. 


Five entree are mostly sweet sauce and deep fry finger food.
Shark fin is delicious. 


Ying yang white chicken and famous peking duck. 


Stir fry enoki mushrooms (a lot) with green vegetables.


Deep fry big fresh prawns. 


Classic soya sauce steamed grouper fish. Sang mee in egg gravy sauce. 

 


Overall, food was all good but damn thirsty later on with all the Ajinamoto. But so to say, my hungry relatives eat faster than I can judge and taste the food slowly. Also, mama eating with kids are always hectic and messy.

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.
