Poppo Canteen - Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng Rempah, Nasi Briyani

24 April 2018 - Poppo canteen is a Modern nasi lemak concept where you can enjoy lots of different spicy curry meats - beef, chicken, etc.
As usual, can't expect super nice iced tea since drinks are not their pioneer, too sweet. 



Nasi lemak with ayam goreng rempah was a good portion rm18-20. 



Surprisingly, Nasi briyani with rendang beef was a good one, very spicy kick and soft beef meat. 


Char Keoy teow not good.. Fried with sugar taste and just blanch taste. 


Asam Laksa average too.

They do offer lots of varieties. So I conclude their nasi is better than noodles. 

Spent rm70 for all fnb.

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.
