Negeri Sembilan State Museum/Complex Centre - Minangkabau architecture

9 June 2018 - [Negeri Sembilan Museum]

I always find museums fascinating, given that the human revolution and our power of knowledge from olden days till the comfortable lifestyle and modern technology that we have these days.
Negeri Sembilan state museum established in 1953, have been shifted to few places back then.

Located at crafts cultural handicraft complex, sungai ujong. The museum itself built using Minangkabau architecture.

NS museums is in better condition compared with Kl museum. Bright lights, full air conditioned, free entrance, clean and well-maintained, easy going route,

also introduce NS local culture, food, and other places to go if you are having holiday at NS.

Was amazed by drawing of the fight between Malaysian's fighting for self defense with the Portugal and British armies during the conquest.

Others displayed are traditional army set, coin minting machine, fishing equipment, NS costume wear, ETc.

[Ampang Tinggi Palace: 1861-1869] wow, thought palace is like those big china kingdom, wherelse this olden malaysia palace structure is spacious yet simple, with its unique craft works - fine carved panels and heavy sliding doors that yet to found elsewhere.

66.5 feet long, 23.5 feet wide. Was sultan passing on to their children in family generations. [Negeri sembilan house: 1898] rumah undang is the original name, 'house of rule'? Owned by tengku saiyed Ismail.

I have no idea how the people do relocation while ensuring the whole Masterpiece won't be destroyed. This house was made without any nails or peg with wood. Walls are made with double panel boards.

Then, the boys get to check out sampan boats, also canons.

If you are planning a simple tour guide trip, a private home cook chef, and you need a transportaition, do consider this KT Micro Tour.
