Lee's Kitchen @Desa Pandan - Halal Hokkien Mee

22 Apr 2018 - Stopping by to give a try Lee's kitchen near kampong pandan. Lee's kitchen is local Chinese and Malaysian halal food. 



Lee signature Hokkien noodle, so I was thinking I have never tried any good halal Hokkien noodle. I was so wrong, the fried 'wok hei' the wok noodles, dark sky sauce noodles, and surprisingly I think they r doing fried crunchy chicken fat lard, amazing taste, taste exactly like the real Hokkien.


Frothy teh tarik less sweet, 




followed by a simple gravy delicious chicken curry white rice and simple sunny side up.

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.
