Jalan Alor Street Art

7 July 2018 - Finally we found the jalan alor street art. It isn't easy as we ask around and some restaurant staffs don't know where is it. It also didn't appear in google map. 



First stop is at the yard boutique hotel, located near to a jalan alor market as well. The bright yellow bird Calvary, big flower on green grass art on the floor. 


Unfortunately, the road transportation is making the floor painting dirty and black.

Second stop is near to hotel replica inn Bukit bintang. Passer by area so it's still fine. Art: forest tree and blue river on the floor. Beautiful colors by contrast zig zag on the floor with bright colors building. A little girl in grey visuals with red flowers on her ears. Yellow black butterflies flying by the wall.

yeah man....I was having difficulties to locate that street art as well...only those short term stay travellers know where is it...even those workers in nearby restaurants do not know where is it...all the best!

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.
