Hari Raya Ramadhan Pasar Bazaar 2018 - Desa Pandan



2 June 2018 - Growing up in a modern malay neighborhood, Ramadan has always been my yearly patron visiting savouring all the Malay food, also to check out the food trend. 


My loyal list:


 



1) Kuih muih - cucur badak, cucuk pisang, seri muka, sardine curry puff, roti jala (can't get nice ones anymore), onde-onde, kuih burger sardin with cucumber slices in the middle, masala vadai, mini donut ulundhu vadai.

2) Murtabak. Pan fried bread with stuffed chicken or beef. 

3) Lemang and rendang. Bamboo glutinous rice with thick gravy curry beef or chicken.

Others new trying out: ayam golek, roasted chicken like kenny rogers. 

Kebab: rolled pita stuffed with slowly roasted meat over rotating spit, mostly marinate meats overnight. 


Biryani rice with kambing. South Indian muslim recipe. Long slender-grained,non-sticky Basmati rice, spices.

So, it seems I buy too much again. 😑 and how come there is no frothy teh ice available? Mostly still sweet and icy drinks in big containers.
