Fountain Cafe @ Pavilion - Simple casual cafe

1 May 2018 - A quick stop at the fountain cafe at pavilion, located just next to the iconic crystal fountain outside pavilion main entrance. 


Set up - marble tables and steel chairs, you will be gazing outside scenery of the busy crowd passers by, through their see through glass built up, as you enjoying a relaxing coffee or a quick bite. 

 


A comfort time of trying out its smooth green tea latte and it's hot baked chicken pie giving me chunks of chickens, peas, mushrooms, in a mini crusty puff pastry, wonder how they do the sauce in the chickens pie fillings, hmmm.

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.
