2 April 2018 - Face to face noodles shop is one of my preferred cosy shop if you are craving for savoury pan mee and Sarawak noodles. Given a generous portion but at rm10+-, I always as I'm for their nutritious herbal soup with chicken mee sua. The basic herbs goji berries, red dates, cordyceps, etc. What I want to highlight is they really boil a real herbal soup instead of using herbal powder. They have 4 chilli pastes, mostly all spicy kick.
Even their local coffee, milk tea, Taiwan milk tea, soothing hot tea, they have it all.
The one I went is at jalan Ipoh. Not sure if others franchisee shop delivers such taste and quality or not.

They got many branches but I personally love their Jalan Ipoh branch.

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.
