20 Apr 2018 - Comfort food with a valuable price at coffee box Cheras. Located behind a row of roadside food stalls, it isn't a visible outlet. 

Spoilt with choices, you can't say you don't have anything to choose. Here are our family choices:


Fried masala fish fillet rm19. Indian spices marinated fish fillet, different tastes aside from the classic fried fillet. 


Chicken roulade rm20. Seems that everyone like this kinda roulade style, rolling all kinda meats everywhere I go. Delicious because meat is simple soft and tasty.

Sizzling yee mee on sizzling pan with the typical mushrooms and chickens. Rm12.50. The sauce was thickened with starch, so so. they claim their signature is signature rice. Others are breakfast set, tea time (fried finger food), nasi lemak, noodles, western food, breads and their special grade coffee and local coffee.

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.
