That latte place moves back to Ampang

3 Feb 2018 - heard from another mommy that 'that latte place' moves back to Ampang... I do miss their coffee and simple breakfast. Located at lorong nibong behind hock choon supermarket Ampang, TLP definitely worth a visit, given that the simple menu consists of coffee and breakfast. Many others to choose, just dilemma as I can't choose more. 



Outdoor seats for smokers, air-conditioned cosy place for non smokers, 


a very small kids area but the toys and its conditions are good enough for my kids to play happily.

Interesting items will be chicken roulade, chargrilled prawns, Turkish poached eggs, tuna patty burger, spiced chai tea. 


The spiced chai tea rm8 was sweet as they serve, so next time probably you can inform Priscilla or her staff upfront that you don't wish to have the sugar included in the infusing spiced chai and tea leaves in milk.


Breakfast platter rm18 was good for me and my kids (because I'm on diet) as it consists a little bit here n there:- scrambled eggs, grilled chicken breast, chicken sausage, baked beans, special mashed sweet potato caramelized onions, buttered toast.

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.
