15 Feb 2018 - Key hiong salted egg yolk custard buns 流沙包 is available at Sunway velocity kiosk, serving you their very few dimsum speciality. No doubt it is expensive, but if you don't want to travel to pj for their dimsum, probably you can hop to their nearest mini food outlets in shopping centre. 




Seeing the custard and salted egg yolk diluted fillings dripping as I open the bun into half, one can imagine how nice you can enjoy liu sha bao in shopping centre. This is more to sinful and craving satisfaction, most important they are able to mix the right taste of custard and salted egg yolk for me.

However, why wasn't I thrilled to enjoy this? Maybe because I pack n go, better to say best to enjoy dim sum dine-in seatings.

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.
