17 Jan 2018 - This is a hidden curry noodles shop - mee kari fang Hong. The last and the best curry noodles I had was the food stall jalan alor opposite KFC. Now, this is so near me, for crying out loud. Thick grave curry broth, foo chuk, curry chicken,bean sprout, keoy teow. What amiss is probably the cockles. And yeah, they forgot to pass me belacan with green lime half slices. Still, they are on par with a great curry noodles. They also say their Wonton mee is awesome. You know, they are so hidden till I can't find their geotag, wonder how they survive. Open morning till 4pm.


 



Mostly the local neighbors and elderly enjoy their breakfast session at here.

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.
