Aquaria klcc - Explore the ocean animals in the city

22 Jan 2018 - Aquaria klcc, showing you marine animals from Malaysia and around the world. Written 5000 kinds in 60000 sqft, but we finish the tour within 1.5 hours.

Manage to see lots of animals from deep forest, the coast, river jungle, fresh water fishes.

Oh I see, so your name is scorpion fish? lionfish? We don't know how to respond when the kids ask us: "Why it doesn't look like lion?"

Of course I and my kid can recognize only the basic naming: fish, eel, shark, frog, jelly fish, stingray, coral, seahorse. Was surprised my kid name out yellow tang, blue tang, puffer fish (recognise from YouTube Finding Nemo cartoon).

The underworld ocean is probably the brightest area and also top most favourite area where people take photos. automated walking elevator, where you can witness so many ocean sea animals swimming across your head and vision. The best is when you can see the dangerous shark in the closest view, since it is a dangerous animal that bites you with its sharp jaw, also you only get to really see it if you are diver. Lack of detailed labels when we are at the living ocean category. Basically, we don't know which is which.

Giant sting ray on top of us!

Our last point, the education workshop/ labotory for the shellfish and seahorses. Browsed through the website, only we know you offer monthly events, but none of the staff inform me about what's going on. So disappointing as I missed out the augmented reality 'holodeck'. Wasn't visible or obvious as we walk through the whole ocean aquarium. Didn't expect bringing map but at least a clear map or the staff can guide us with some event highlights or things not to be amiss when we are at aquaria. Didn't do research either, as I always prefer an immediate approach 'traveller'. However, they are oku and stroller friendly with lift accessibility, staff also welcome you with great smile.
