Friendscino set lunch (VivaHome)

20 Dec 2017 - Was coming over to support this western restaurant and bar at Vivahome.
With only me as the 2nd table, I have to wait for 30 minutes to get my set lunch. Probably not ideal for a quick rush lunch hour.

This set lunch priced up to RM30 including all those service tax and GST. IT is also the first time I eat salmon pasta in a deep but small bowl. However, the portion given was good for 1 pax, as in don't judge by the bowl, you get the fullness upon finishing pasta, as well as other side dishes.

The grilled salmon pasta was alright for me. Creamy salmon pasta was a savoury dish of the day, for local favourites.

Won't say this is so bad, but in compare with other local food, it could be maybe a challenge for the F&B preference. However, most people come here for happy hours, and drink till late night.

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.
