The garden BBQ buffet steamboat at Sri Petaling

Want to eat without worries of the bill? Surprisingly, my brother knows this place called the garden BBQ steamboat buffet. No, not at the gardens mall, or as if they own a garden, but well, the owner did placed a swing with some grass deco to link garden theme.



Rm50 per adult to enjoy more than 50 kinds of frozen food items, fresh seafood, fresh fish ball noodles, sate cucuk with different kind of meat, vegetables, mushrooms, noodles, ice cream, fruits, marshmallows fondue. All you need to do is choose to put those items into your clear or tomyam soup, or choose to grill (mostly chicken wings and sate meat) or just lightly cook your food on top pan grill Teppenyaki style (wrapped with aluminum foil, so it's clean).

Proper exhaust to absorb the smoke as you grill. Basically I think the owner looks like operating one whole air-conditioned wet and dry market, with so many items to choose, all displayed on a huge sampan. Having said so, he even prepares cooked food such as fried rice, deep fried abalone mushrooms, stir fry clams. 



My boy took more than 10 marshmallows fondue and 1 ice cream. I will be speechless if you say there isn't varieties. Bad side probably we are inexperienced in cooking the shelled seafood, ending up lots of shit contain n chewy as we eat. Otherwise, perfect.

RESTORAN CHAN HAINAM KOPITIAM 赞记海南冰 yulek cheras - petai char keoy teow, hainam coffee

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.
