7/9/2017 - Restaurant siaw kwee hot pepper soup at kajang. Strongly recommended by my mom because she says the food is seducing her to go back there many times, lol. Pepper drugs? Well, when it comes to hot pepper soup, you need to have the pepper spices, enhanced with fresh pork organs and meats, savoury soup base. And they meet all the requirements. Even the river fish is fresh and no soil texture. Well, seems it is river fish and not those rear in the pool. Affordable, we spent only Rm80 for everything. OK, now I know why it is so seducing, and siaw kwee opens two shop corner lots for their customers.

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.
