21 Aug 2016 - As we arrived early before we go to 9888 for proper food, I was curious to see this wan ton restaurant located next to Hotel Mezzo in Cheras.

Thought to drop by to have a noodles snack before heading for a lunch, how greedy I am!





Order their classic wantan noodles at RM 6.50 - 7: springy wan tan noodles, adding on bbq pork char siew, roasted pork siew yuk, and the small little dumplings swirming in the little bowl of soup. some green vegetables at the side, so that you don't feel guilty on eating purely meat and carbo. What I like is that their noodles doesn't have the strong preservatives smell.





The juicy wanton dumplings, small yet fill up with minced pork and spring onions.

RESTORAN CHAN HAINAM KOPITIAM 赞记海南冰 yulek cheras - petai char keoy teow, hainam coffee

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.
