Hakka dishes at Kah Heong Taste Restaurant, Ampang

27 Aug 2016 - After joining a whatsapp group within my neighbourhood area, all the mommies (actually most Malaysian) will talk about what's cooking in the neighbourhood area.

I am proud to say that I have visited all the recommended restaurants, and last but not least - Kah Heong Taste Restaurant in Ampang. Manage to 'date' another lovely mommy, Jamie with her little princess, Coleen for a Saturday dinner.

Ah, a typical chinese restaurant, just that the chef is innovative by cooking something special, as I browse through the menu.

But since 2 mommies, and 2 kids, we couldn't order any spicy or additional dishes. Argh.

Home-made crispy beancurd/ tofu with 'abalone' and carrot and slices on top. Crispy skin yet soft tofu, this dish gives us another different taste in tasting beancurd!

Own-made fish paste with spinach soup. Aiyo, end up so healthy when we eat with our children, haha!

Finally, sweet and sour crispy pork. the tangy tomato ketchup, rice vinegar, green and red bell peppers, cucumber cubes and pineapple pieces, all blend together sweet and nice.

Overall, the dishes we order are tasty and nice, also in nice portion. Just that, we the mommies, seems like eating healthy like the children, aiks!
