The Love of Marriage – ROM, Chinese Wedding Custom and Wedding Party


Alright, so after marriage proposal, we have to do what other married couples will have to do: Registration of marriage, pre-wedding photo shooting and wedding custom depending on the culture.

Phew, lots to do! Well, have to ask experienced elderly – my mom the expert to handle all this. She is the one who handles the whole Chinese wedding dates, Chinese dinner, getting the bride’s chaperone, and so much more!

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.
