Suki Jezz New Land - Colmar Tropicale, French Village

24th July 2011 – After few years of struggling in getting the French village, after years of discussion with the related company, we had finally finalized that I will be taking over the Colmar Tropicale, a French village and also the Japanese Botanical Garden near Genting Highland. If me, I will rebuild the French village with more happening party going on at night and a fun gathering for all people in the next morning.

Wake up wake up! Jezz, you sure you own the French Village? Yes, maybe till I work till 90 years old to hit 0.5% of the land. It was my dream to own such house though, I always fancy about a cottage with friendly neighbors around, milking the cow every morning, tying up ponytails and walk along the streets, coming back and start cooking for the loved ones, and the imagination just runs on and on.

Till then, this lovely story shall be continued. At this lovely evening at 5pm, we drove down from Genting Highland and headed over to Karak Highway to see our final destination (no, not the name of the horror movie please).  Passing by the trees, the breezing wind, and the hang at the top Mr Cable car and part of being sleepy (as usual), we finally reached Colmar Tropicale.

Well, this cute little place, relish in century old Alsace charm at this French-themed resort, settled at 2,700feet above sea-level amidst 80 acres of rainforests. More info at:-

The place more or less was a bit quiet, but you shall really see people enjoying their tea or coffee, to be away from the busy working life at least for a while, quite a relaxing place I would say, with the top tower for you to see the whole view of scenery, observing or feeding the beautiful black and white swan (they are really a beauty of animals),

with the children running around with the magical cute clown to have fun with them, the video games around to make the children busy for a while, and the list goes on. There is the beautiful botanical garden, but as it was quite late (garden opens till 6pm), we did not manage to go to the garden, but overall the garden was beautified with flowers, ponds, fishes, some cute staff around who wears Kimono and you will enjoy the wind blowing softly at your face with the breath of fresh air.

We are just walking around to check out the place, and have a short tea break with nice bread at one of the bakery shop, talked a while.

hey, who drive my car?
prince, you watching me?
After that, we headed over back the car where I snatched Federico’s camera (politely) and snapped some pictures. I have been always enjoying seeing the surroundings as it will make me feel more peaceful and less stressful.

the french bridge to cross over the castle

Jezz's castle

lovely...
can't see the prince?

sneak peek, hide behind bushes to see who is at the castle

my land...for one second of thoughts

I wish I am one of the Rapunzel and staying the look alike castle! I am imagining my hairs being so long with the prince arrived and pull my long frizzy curly hair to reach the top of the castle? Wonder how long I need to wait for such hair to grow, yawn….

And my journey continues….

Wonderful Trip to Gohtong Jaya and Genting Highland

Wonderful Trip to Gohtong Jaya and Genting Highland

24th July 2011 – The journey goes on with Italiano Federico and Bella Deborah. After spending hours in the toilet, being nagged to be quick quick, we decided to head over to Genting Highland this time. I missed my childhood times when my family brings me up to Genting Highland, when the adults are busy gambling, and some adults have to sacrifice to take care all the little monkey children.

Genting Highland is one place you ought to go, where you will see so many people going there with convenience of transports and good services around. But before I continue to Genting Highland, let me talk about Gohtong Jaya. Gohtong Jaya is a main township in Genting Highlands, Bentong, and Pahang at Malaysia. It was erected and named after Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong, the chairman of Genting Group. There are restaurants, shops, apartments and Genting INTI International College.

So, if you ask me food, I prefer to eat at Gohtong Jaya before heading to Genting Highland, as local food are yet still yummy compared to the commercialized ones. So, I came to my favorite family’s dining place, Qui Lin restaurant, please do not miss these few: dried curry wild boar, Assam fish, and the vegetables as all are so fresh and tasty with good reasonable price! nice....yummy

Federico

Deborah with her skill of using chopsticks

We ordered 5 types of food, in a way, two people are eating 5 dishes, as Ms Deborah was not feeling really well, but she did tried a little bit food here and there, and she learns to use chopsticks at Malaysia. Bravo!
how can you resist this?

After having one heavy breakfast combined with lunch, up we go to Genting Highland. More info at http://www.rwgenting.com/

As usual, the crowd but this time it seems more foreigners are to be seen at here. It is normal when you saw some wrapped up China dolls around offering sex services, and also some guys ‘supervising’ them, normally they will approach the guys and stories after that, I do not know and I do not want to know.

We walked round and round (means we are lost) but just a while, where we followed the signboard and finally head over to the indoor theme park. I missed the Paris and Genting tower, and also the antique clock. I wished to see them in real when I have the chance to head over to Italy by then.

After that, here you are able to the Venice River and there is a boat with a fake boat rower (I always think the fake model is a real man even till now!), the head over bridge was a romantic bridge, Ferris wheel, and more dining places.

At 3pm, I ‘cheated’ Mr Federico and Deborah to head over to Ripley’s Believe or Not. Info at:
http://www.ripleyattractions.com/international-locations/genting-highlands-malaysia/

in the past, I had been calling my friends to join along to walk in to know more about Ripley’s but it seems no one seem to be interested about it, this time, my forth attempt of inviting them to go in was a success! I was super happy with ‘oh my god’ as in seeing Ripley in real person. I had wanted to go inside and had been watching his documentary. I was pretty amazed with Ripley as his way of exploring and thoughts is different and his willingness to share all weird and cool stuff to the world, such a nice guy.

At here, I manage to take the pictures which I was interested in and so many details you can obtain from here, and you will be amazed how miracles and weird things happened all around the world. I enjoyed every moment inside, and my dream of going inside finally did come true.
