Hunting for Thai cheap eats and my mom introduced this dbkl food court near Cheras.

Damn big fresh prawns, long time never see so many big prawns and it's only rm24!

Authentic Thai tomyam by a Thai lady chef. Saw few foreign helpers and a Chinese uncle.

Many people come here for the Thailand fish and main dishes.


I thought their fried keoy teow is pad Thai, but it's a normal fried keoy teow.

Nevertheless, the tomyam soup is pretty spicy and good. Not stingy on the ingredients in the soup.

Operates at night.

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.
