21 Jan 2020 - Finally got a chance to try this beauty in the pot. Despite the expensive meal and long queue in genting Highland.. I believe their outlet at the garden malls are way much better.

4 person orders almost all kinds of platter from the menu and spent RM450 below.

Their special soup is the collagen soup and mala spicy soup. I would say the collagen Broth will be thicken as you add on more food in it.

Tomato soup base is really good. All it takes is their fresh steamboat ingredients. 


You will be charged like rm6 for the sauces and fruits they prepare.

Staff offer free pomelo jelly as dessert.

If you are a steamboat fan or if you want to try a different soup base.. This is good for you.




Pinkish thematic venue set up, and a kid playground for your kids to play around if you are in a long queue.

But I am not super impressed with the menu, nor the soup. The service, soup base are really good, but i think sometimes things went too viral and everyone just go gaga for viral food trend.

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.
