Halloween 2019 @ Great Eastern Mall

20 Oct 2019 - Great Eastern has always been a great event initiator in its great neighbourhood shopping mall. I do come to Great Eastern Mall for special festive, for example, Halloween, Christmas, Raya, Chinese New Year etc. because others big shopping malls are always too crowded due to massive decorations but very less interactive activities...

In this Halloween 2019, we watched the zombie dancers,

















Hand and face painting, and the painter is so kind to help my kids to draw things that they would like to have!




ah ha, time for some pumpkin car ride....well, this doesnt move, just a prop for us to sit on and take some nice shots.





and even tarot card, reader. Check out this beautiful young lady who tells my 'destiny' on the upcoming road.

She is Ms Ann Naomi wong from Soleil trinity (Jessie Lee) who is happened to be the daughter of Jessie.

It isn't easy to follow the legend of the family interest, but it's truly honored if one follow their parent's footstep and legacy, cause they support the same passion in the same family!











simple Halloween craft (color a skeleton, cut open the mouth, glue on a clipper). Despite the normal coloring corner...this is a really cool art craft!



Aside of selling some nice Halloween sugar treat cookies and items... It was good to let the kids to have some quiet yet fun activities to compare with the big crowded shopping malls.

RESTORAN CHAN HAINAM KOPITIAM 赞记海南冰 yulek cheras - petai char keoy teow, hainam coffee

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.
