Kong Chai kee 江仔记 - wonton noodles, homemade fishball

7 July 2019 - Speak Cantonese speak till 舌头都打结了.. Haha.. Omg the weather in June at here... Humid like Malaysia, and it will rain out of the sudden, and stop next minute, and then rain back.. So prepare going out with an umbrella at least.

So ask for receptionist for local food of course...to have a good hot bowl of big prawn dumpling wonton mee, home made fish ball noodles will be at this Kong Chai kee.

Serving portion is a very good stomach filling. Serving you very hot soup and their chilli oil, don't you look down on their homemade chilli oil, cause the 🌶 is so spicy!

I believe their soup base is using pork bones and Anchovies at least... In Chinese, we call the soup taste 轻甜,but it doesn't mean sweet but a good Broth.

The wonton mee is thin and freshly made, unlike those kl yellow noodle with the preservatives smell. For their springy wonton noodles, Hong Kong wins.

But for their hor fun/keoy teow, Ipoh and Thailand still the champions.

Of course, for iced milk tea, there is almost none to compared to those Hong Kong restaurants in kl, cause I can't recall such authentic taste in any hk cafe concept in kl offers similar hk milk tea taste. Here must order 丝袜奶茶.

One thing the Hong Kong people need to improve is probably have their menu in English language as well, cause most of their signboard and menu are in Cantonese wordings.

Don't expect you can occupy whole table in such a small outlet cause in Hong Kong, you have to share table, eat fast, order fast, leave fast. This is the culture.
