Top Korea souvenirs

These are the top Korea souvenirs I will recommend you to buy, because you can't get elsewhere.

Chips, snacks 2000 Korean won.

1) think tteokbokki (spicy rice cake snack) in dark red packaging. addictive and spicy, very nice.

2) Haitai honey butter chips or honey butter almond. Taste like the popcorn just that you gonna munch on chips or almonds.

3) korea premium multi whole grain baked crispy roll. Crusty. Soft, fluffy egg roll with nice cream fillings, great to eat as energy bar before workout.

4) Lotte premium pie cream cake, turns out white vanilla cream in between the brownies biscuits.

5) seaweed with varieties.

6) kimchi, Korea traditional side dishes, salted fermented cabbage or radishes, seasonings of chili powder, scallions, garlic, ginger, jeotgal. Each restaurant must and will serve their own DIY kimchi.

7) soju rice wine 10-25% alcohol but I hate it so much, I'm not a fan. But those with additional fruity extracts was good for me. Damn cheap probably only cost you 1000 Korean won.

8) samyang cheese spicy dry noodles, and nongshin spicy noodles. Seafood noodles so so. But price is not really a huge difference in compare with price in Malaysia.

9) korea traditional quilted colorful stripes an patterns on pouch, wallets, etc. Hidden embroidery flowers if you watch closely.

10) beauty products is almost the equal value of their meal = 6000-10000 korean won. This means Koreans mark the importance of beauty as much as their daily meal. It is like feeding their skin and face. Top preference will be ready mask, laneige sleeping mask, elastic snail gel, aloe Vera gel, mise en scene hair care perfect serum. Any beauty street.

11) if you can bring back fresh cooling drinks, consider banana flavored milk from Binggrae. Too sweet for me though, but it's top selling daily drinks in Korea.

12) Cute socks

Male and female ginseng

Others personal interest: bought usual fridge magnets, post cards, Korea ginseng tea (Korea Ginseng is very nutritious),

and smiling traditional wooden hahoetal masks, worn in hahoe pyolshin-gut t'al nori ceremony in 12th century. Ritual dance drama. Souvenir street is at insadong.

Tips: don't go tourist destination. You can buy at their Lotte mart, e-mart, underground tunnel shopping area. Cheaper.
