Korea Culture - proud of quality, latest trend, a norm of plastic surgery

29 April 2018 - [Korean Culture]

The first thing any friends or any salesperson will greet you is: "an-nyung-ha-se-yo".

Be it moving fast-paced in trend, Korea dress -up is still in conservative terms. Some of them do dress up in super short or tiny tops, but the traditional family always dislike such dressing, but the youngsters starting to be more daring in dressing sexier. Their clothing is more towards straight cut shirts, and big leisure pants, mostly light brown, white or more towards earth colour pallette.

It is a MUST for each girl I saw, as they put on very reddish lipstick and bronze colour eyeshadow, mostly nude brown, caramel, sand wave brown and the latest colour trends are between bronze and brown colour palette. Rarely see any without makeup. It is also normal to have a quick plastic surgery, for example, I saw a guy just had his nose done (nose bandage) and just happily walking around checking out latest shoe fashion.

In Hongik University, lots of students and youngsters will perform on street - singing, dancing, k-pop...as if it was their dream to become a super start or like their idol.

Super busy, fast-paced, need to keep up to lifestyle trend. They maintain their skin and look, just as important as their daily meal. Friends will just comment and talk about what fashion you are wearing today, which skincare do you use, or if you have just done an uplift plastic surgery on your eyelids or nose.
