Bobalife cafe mahkota cheras - spacious cafe with local savory food

Bobalife cafe at mahkota Cheras...modern hipster local cafe. Lots to choose, price is good, friendly staff, big space to chill...comfort food overall...



Tried the unique sesame shrimp toast. Of course, we could't bite any 'shrimps' in between. Staff says it is in between the toast, ah ok.



Ordered the pork belly mee hoon always the savory companion.

Overall, comfort food at RM 8 onwards, but  drinks price is at least RM 6 if I remembered correctly. Well, just a local restaurant with all beautiful setup, cosy place.

Food wise, I believe they are still trying something extraordinary, as I can see from the menu. Keep trying, way to go!

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.
