Nasi beriani ipoh... Introduced by one of the friends in ampang.

I went to tapao @nasi beriani ipoh in ampang.

Not a rice person and also not enough kaki. Luckily got my family members to help to share the guilty foods. Haha.

I ordered:
1) nasi briyani with chicken madras. A very unique chicken with black spicy gravy sauce.

2) nasi briyani with curry kambing. Now, this is very very unusual for me. The kambing has no strong smell, and they manage to braise long hours and cook till the lamb meat is tender enough. It isn't easy as you know lamb meat will have the gamy smell and a tough meat to cook like beef.

3) their ipoh coffee are special. The kaw kaw taste like Chinese coffeeshop. Biasa Malay likes to make it over manis kinda condensed milk. For this, finally caffeine tops the notch.

Ah Bob food court - Ying sister Yong Tau fu 英姐酿豆腐

22 Sept 2018 - Are you a fan of Hakka  yong  tau foo? Those various vegetables wrapped with fish and chicken fillings (pork  free style ). The original fillings are  mix  of pork meat and mackerel fish.  Found this  ying  sister  yong  tau foo  are  far beyond the normal varieties. They only operates 2pm till night. They sell even black fungus 木耳 and 猪皮 Pork rind. Each yong tau foo priced at rm1.30, to be honest, I always get mixed up with fish maw and Pork rind. Both look and taste the same if there is no smell from the fried skin texture, anyone can guide me? Anyway, I super love it!  Also many delicious food Ampang people will recommend at ah bob food court, be it morning or night.  Various food choices both morning and night. Long time never go to food court as hardly can settle. Two kids alone in a busy food court, can't expect strangers helping you with babychairs or staff service...

Deng kee - fish head noodle

4 April 2017 Deng kee fish head noodles food stall, Jalan beruang near to king wu chinese school...Wed serves pork noodle/ Tues, Fri & Sat fish head/ Tues & Thurs chicken Ho fun noodles... A very long waiting time of 30 mins to get my fish head, almost nothing left much when I reach at 10am on weekdays..no doubt the fish meat is super fresh, but soup full of pepper n nothing much to shout about...wonder why they r famous...
