Taman pudu ulu - water play area, city park

10 June 2017 -
Taman pudu you with its new outdoor water play area for is clean by far...spacious with one view, you can see the whole recreational Park...cycling, jogging, mini playground, big rooftop stadium, some innovative architecture here n there..however, lack of trees, therefore you will feel very hot..most of the pedestrian tracks are made of concrete..seems like a city park more than a nature park
You will recognize the park with its clear white leaf icon by the gate. Landmark will be near pgrm.

Mini playground but as you can see the mat on the floor not well maintained.

Huge football field.

Simple Splashing design, allow the kids play with splashing water.

Very big pool, shallow to depth Max 70cm I think. This the children pool extend till the cross over bridge. Even after the bridge, there is a long river size kid pool still.

The operating hours of the swimming pool...
Mon, Thurs closed
Tues, wed, Fri - 4-7pm
Sat, Sun 9am -12pm, 4-7pm

Rooftop stadium near water play area. You can even dance, exercise or have a picnic mat n enjoy your picnic under shaded area.

Very little trees, almost 'bald'.  You feel hot and humid in this park. I suggest to plant more greenery plants, so that we can breathe in more oxygen!

Used to have tens of thousands of trees and hundreds of birds. Now all felled and gone and hardly 200 saplings planted. Even acres of land lost and converted into buildings. Used to be peaceful but nowadays concerts are allowed and music blaring away till late in the evening. Drainage very poor and water ponding every it rains. DBKL should place artificial nests on those older trees to attract back the birds. A colossal waste of public funds as there are hardly any tree shades to shield park goers from the hot sun
