Nasi beriani ipoh ampang

Image
Nasi beriani ipoh... Introduced by one of the friends in ampang. I went to tapao @nasi beriani ipoh in ampang. Not a rice person and also not enough kaki. Luckily got my family members to help to share the guilty foods. Haha. I ordered: 1) nasi briyani with chicken madras. A very unique chicken with black spicy gravy sauce. 2) nasi briyani with curry kambing. Now, this is very very unusual for me. The kambing has no strong smell, and they manage to braise long hours and cook till the lamb meat is tender enough. It isn't easy as you know lamb meat will have the gamy smell and a tough meat to cook like beef. 3) their ipoh coffee are special. The kaw kaw taste like Chinese coffeeshop. Biasa Malay likes to make it over manis kinda condensed milk. For this, finally caffeine tops the notch. Www.jesonestop.blogspot.com

Decades cafe δΈ€η”²ει£Ÿθ‹‘ - the real chee cheong fun

Image
Are you a fan of chee cheong fun? Chee cheong hun has its history of why its being named as such, as it rolls it looks like the pork intestines. It's always just a classic rice flour carbs being garnished off with sweet brown sauce, chilli sauce sesame oil, fried shallots. Of course many search for variation and @decadecafe li jin takes over her father mission, passion and legacy to bring the best chee cheong fun to klang Valley folks. 100% rice flour handmade everyday, unlike those machine made mass production. The first time in my life I will feel full eating a chee cheong fun. We ordered 1)the original classic 2)sengkuang filled chee cheong fun - like a popiah roll but with chee cheong fun on the outside.the key is the skill of wrapping the big fillings carefully without breaking the skin. The usual yam beans, dried prawns, mushrooms, carrots, etc   3) stir fry chee cheong fun (reminded me my love of XO fry chee cheong fun from ζ—Ίθ§’mong kok cafe) 4)The steam yam cake with dried pr

Mummy's cook - nasi lemak, fried chicken, chicken rendang chicken, tomyam mee hoon

Image
Was dropping by to tapao iced coffee but was attracted to this tall. Chinese lady who seems cook everything from scratch...  Little did I know she was this brand 'mummy's cook' taman midah, which famous in food panda for her nasi lemak. She doesn't have stall and only operates from her own kitchen and focus delivery previously. She has to open stall and welcome. More walk ins due to the high profit from the 3rd party delivery platform anyway. I ordered mee hoon mix Maggie.. And had a chance to taste her rendang sauce and belacan. Long time never tasted rendang sauce with gravy and strong taste of coconut milk and delightful lemongrass in it. Too bad I'm not a kaki of rice n chicken. Opposite Victoria kopitiam taman midah.
