22 May 2018 - Ini kalilah habis...mom craves for fried chicken for supper and dilemma to choose which fried chicken is nicer? Seeing social media and TV as showing both trendy fried chicken, I have to go to buy mcd nasi lemak with fried chicken, and the KFC nacho cheezy crunch. Mcd Nasi lemak - soft coconut rice, but their spices to create their spicy crispy ayam goreng mcd is so aromatic, make me wonder what spices they use to marinate the chickens. I suspect it is the paprika and red chilli powder are their secret recipes. Need more sambal though. Kfc nacho cheesy crunch - crunchy nacho flakes over hot spicy chicken, it is where they make louder cripsy sound as you bite on it. Creamy Yellow Mustard dipping sauce is the partner in crime. So which fried chicken is your favorite? *I'm more concerned with my calories and fats after eating both!

7 June 2018 - Guess where am I enjoying my hot teh tarik and big banana muffin? Mcd serves more than just their burgers, as mc cafe offers cheap western American coffee style, Malaysian teh tarik and some hot selling muffins. However, if I drink their frothy teh tarik everyday,i think I will get diabetes very soon. Banana muffin with crunchy walnuts are always my favorite.

25 July 2018 - Enjoying a quick fresh oyster shooter (Bloody Mary) at village grocer at only rm15. Bloody Mary premix earlier for convenience. However, didn't taste much alcohol. Yet, an oyster wine bar is a strategic plan for a hustle mommy with kiddos running around in the supermarket. 25 July 2018 - Teck Kee bak kut Teh in restoran Loong yee at taman Midah. Clear bak kut Teh with the smell of dong gui herbs cooked in 1.5 hour normally. soft ribs and lots of pork meats, tender and succulent. Gravy tasty sweet vinegar pork trotter with the strong ginger taste. Sour bit for me, but that's the point of having vinegar pork trotter. Simple boiled you mak with deep fried onions garnishing. 23 July 2018 - Dai be steam fish head (signboard wrongly named as heat) is an old coffee shop at the corner of taman connaught area - Restoran A You Lee. Steam big fish head will be using Asian big head carp fish (雄鱼头) ,super fresh flesh with simple soya sauce, gingers and their red chilli Paso is crazy spicy! The best part is their cooking method ensure the fish doesn't overcooked, you can test by trying to remove the fish meat off it's bone, as in not too soft.  2nd, I tell uncle char keoy teow that my friend says I must come to try his char keoy teow, or else she won't friend me. Uncle was like: "wa so serious ah? " 😂 Nevertheless, the char keoy trow was nicely done with great wok fried, delicious, and on par with penang taste.  Last, fresh fish balls and fishmaw are also add on for lunch meal. 22 July 2018 - Passed by kak lian bao and kuih yday. Kak lian operates sell and takeaway in their own house in Ampang. Making handmade buns, some kuih and loh mai gai. Opens only Mon - sat I think 9am@6pm. Opens only on special Sunday's if kak lian didn't go for outing. Overall just happy to have someone doing handmade bun at least, the fillings are quite a good portion, not really salty either. Loh mai gai average. Yet to try others but if you are fed up with factory steamed bun, you can try find kak lian at Ampang. 19 July 2018 - Restaurant ming chu seafood Sri Petaling. Came over for a private gathering by invitation. 17 fish tanks with fresh seafood, but I didn't know where is it.  New upgraded interior with classy set up great for occasions, with private rooms and karaoke equipment and business presentation if you like. Friendly staff. Aircond facilities. Interesting to see they use disposable plastic tablecloth from China, where they dispose your leftovers without need to keep washing the tablecloth. Their signatures are signature magic pot consists of all kinds of seafood: fish, prawns, squid, sotong, clams, mussels., yam, white lobak, enoki mushrooms, chicken. It does look like a CNY treasure pot 盆菜,but a different version with soup broth and spicy. Other signature dishes are clay pot rice eel fish, clay pot abalone rice, garlic smoked duck rice, Japanese style river prawn rice. We order: 1) Thai style sweet sour crab, where the claws and legs come in one piece

  15 July 2018 - A simple small cafe worth a visit if you are in Great Eastern Mall.  Cater to cook simple healthy breakfast set/ salad/ sandwich.  Adding on the foamy cappuccino, it is a perfect brunch over the weekend.

14 July 2018 - Quick stop at restaurant farmers street in jaya shopping centre. At first, the impression was a nyonya food concept, stating that most of their signature dishes were fried chicken rice. So end up ordering clay pot noodles and since I crave for meesua herbal soup. Their milk tea was only using taiwan pearl milk tea powder and not the classic teh tarik. 😕 Herbal soup mee Sua is good as they use the Chinese herbs to boil the soup at least (some place just use powder form)  Clay pot noodles too salty. Didn't finish. However, both considered big individual portion. Just can't get why it's named as farmer streets when it serves fusion menu. Their appeal seem like more towards western design. 11 July 2018 - You see herbal soup in coconut, you know that's 强记补品。Keong kee herbal soup is located just opposite shaw parade pudu.    12 herbal soups in layers of steaming tray, all nutritious soup are in small double boiler pot yet rich in the taste and nutritious.    Yet to try their water turtle, squirrel, pigeon soup 😱 scared nose bleeding, too hot for body consumption. 16 ala care dishes. We ordered braised pork trotter with star anise. Braise sauce is damn good, just that the meat is not soft enough. Wild boar curry is signature here.  Ban mee by old couples. Thick broth and nice pan mee style. Always crowded, got fan, road side stall. 7 July 2018 - Finally we found the jalan alor street art. It isn't easy as we ask around and some restaurant staffs don't know where is it. It also didn't appear in google map.  First stop is at the yard boutique hotel, located near to a jalan alor market as well.
