3 Dec 2017 - Excuse for this imperfect food photos, as we were so hungry for a late lunch without eating anything for breakfast. Comfort food with much choices, price range of the average cafe price. Back then 2011, I thought it was pricey, but as for now, maybe everyone was numb as these are the standard price everywhere, for example a good big breakfast costs rm25, same goes with pasta etc. They don't serve the normal French fries, but the waffle fries. Portion is okay, not too big, not too small. For Eg, 2 pieces of average lamb steak served per plate order.
Buy 1 free1 for all coffee, happy hour beer at rm8.

Surprisingly, I really love their kids-play area, where quite a lot of nice books, toys and pretty much , your kids gonna be occupied. Oh yeah, just 2-3 tables nearby to the kids area, so better book your table!

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.
