Peruvie - Peruvian grilled chicken @ great eastern mall

29/10/2017:- We were almost excited to try Peru food.. Peruvie is at great eastern mall, sharing same kitchen of Penang village. Seems too good to be true, as they were promoting lots of info about Peruvian cuisine. Unfortunately, the roasted chicken was quite a big let down. Probably Kenny roger tastes better. Side dishes are salads and a bowl of steamed rice. Same goes to their cebiche raw fish. We ordered few local Penang food from Penang village, but I believe it needs more improvement to be on par with the local Penang taste at least. Hmm..

24 Sept 2020 - Everyone go gaga with 'hainam' and 冰室 as the coffeeshop names nowadays. Actually hainam is also the same as cham. Here is the menu, expensive or cheap? I am not sure why there is a hype naming the coffeeshop 冰室 cause the chinese words are more towards Hong Kong style. The neighbors were talking about this new hainam tea coffeeshop at Yulek. So, I went to try this siham sambal petai char keoy teow priced at rm9. What do you think of this combination? Good taste or merely for bring unique and viral? For me, the petai couldnt fit in together with the CKT. BUT, the belacan is so freshly done and very spicy. The cook didnt use the normal belacan paste (dark red color). On the wok hei part, the plate of char keoy teow taste is blanch though. As for the coffee, I personally think their hainam coffee taste nicer than hainam tea. The hainam tea was tasteless on this day, but my 1st visit ordering hainam coffee is good.
