Chili's, sunway velocity - big food portion, free-flow, happy hour

Image
24 Nov 2017 - Chilli's opened its doors at sunway velocity last month. From the reservation attendant at the door step till the waiter who serve us all the food, I would say they are helpful, cheerful and trying at their best to be attentive. Basically chilli's is famous with big portion of food starting at rm20 - 30. Buy 1 main course, free 1 kid's meal. Some examples as per below for kids free meals. happy hour before 8pm during weekdays - beer at 20-30% off, selected cocktails rm5 off...freeflow soft drinks. Offer free coloring with one simple crayon folded in the coloring paper for kids to settle down (but it's impossible for my kid to do so) Too much choices on the menu, and we don't know what to choose, young staff couldn't solve my dilemma in choosing the dish too (he says all also nice, didn't really recommend)  end up with Signature bites platter: signature wings (but they serve us spicy drumlets), cheesy balls. Their fried

Digital screens informing you the next station.  Clear instructions telling you if there's a simple transit or a walking distance of you have interchange to other train commuters. We should organise a public transport travel tour at Malaysia! Finally, a nightview of the kl traffic jam with bright lights could make me just calm down, away from the pc screen busy kids, and once a while, walking through the train railway can give us more stories inside out.

Super Saigon TTDI - Vietnam cuisine with Australian beef

Image
25 Nov 2017 - Wow, finally I can eat any other food afar from my neighborhood compound.  With the viral food trend of Vietnam food, pretty much-modernised concept of Super Saigon at ttdi, serving you Vietnam delicacies with Australian meat. We order: 1)Special beef noodles rm20 2)Spring roll minced chicken rm13 3)Rice paper roll chickens and prawns rm10 4) bun cha spring roll n grilled chicken rm17 5) Vietnamese milk coffee rm8 6) honey lemon rm5 Overall, portion is so big, probably good for sharing. Lots of vegetables, bean sprouts, salad, cold Vietnam mee hoon wrapped in the roll.  My personal like is the rice paper roll with 1 piece chicken chunk n 3 big prawns seen through from the skin roll and aromatic Vietnamese coffee.  Sad to say, the beef noodle soup was just average, maybe I'm not a Vietnamese food lover.

Staff well dressed, very attentive yet polite.  Offer simple bread and roasted garlic in Paper bag, so you can grab and go if you didn't finish it. 👉Burrata salad with rocket Salad wasn't bitter at all, at much delight. However, priced at rm46, expensive for a simple salad.  👉Thumbs up for their tagliatelle ragu di maiale - minced pork bolognese sauce, topped with Parmesan cheese at Rm40. Well cooked and flavorful. Meat eater main course rm60-120, okay with the high traffic and peak up price at changkat area. 👉seafood pizza -rm49 frutti di mare with so many fresh prawns and shell seafoods.

Taste wise the pad Thai and somtam salad are more to local flavours... the braised chicken rice and the special wanton mee noodles in thick turmeric soup are recommended. The turmeric soup is the thing local super love, also never had this taste at any other place before....if you are a rice lover, they offer more than 10 choices of fragrant Thai rice set.
