Longchen toast house Ampang - bread toast, pan mee, nyonya rice

Longchen toast house, second outlet at Ampang (1st outlet at Cheras).
The attractive logo and the name 'longchen' of the toast house comes from the surnames of the founders - Long & Chen.

They really did surprised me as I thought the toast cafe was a franchise bought from Taiwan or hk, but it was 100% born in Malaysia.

Bright lights, white furniture, a little garden feel wall decor, and logo is catchy.

Susan the supervisor tells me everything here is handmade from scratch. My orders:
  • Local Ipoh coffee, a different sip than the normal milk coffee.

Famous toast kaya butter. Using waffle toaster, creating a different appeal of the normal bread toast. Loving the toast smell and crispy bread sides.

  • Pan mee, with a thick broth by surprise. Was so worried that was starch, luckily it isn't. Pan mee soup was well done indeed, making me finishing the soup as well. I believe their pan mee is Hakka style.

Others are nyonya rice, focusing on how they cook the nyonya rice. Pan mee and nyonya rice priced at rm6 the lowest,  adding on lots of variations of chicken rendang, curry chicken and many more.

They take supply from 【全馬首一家,開心花甲粉】Happy Noodle, which I blogged about the seafood noodles when I tried it at everyday food court.

Recommend this toast house, as everything is so cheap.
