15 April 2017 - Special Playdates at Little Acorns at Play, The Strand Kota Damansara. Tanny and I decided to give special sensory playdates for our mini whatsapp group, as the parents would like to let the kids to have fun, while all of us the parents would like to know each other better.

A brief intro about Little Acorns at Play. Education formula is very important in a learning school system.

The most important thing is children get to learn while playing. Now, to play without direction, or let children themselves to explore the toys or let him watch tv alone, is not a good grow-up process. There are many factors that will affect the children's behaviour, and it is all come back to the family grow up progress and how we nurture them. Once you miss the golden times, their brain will be locked down and it will be difficult to catch up the learning and playing process.


Activities held:





Sing and dance, warm up session for new kids at a new environment today.



Sensory play with bloop (made with corn starch and water with food coloring). The children will get to explore how to make bloop and immerse themselves in bloop (a good sensory and gross motor skills development). I was so happy that the kids get to play dirty at indoor compound!



Pizza making - place tomato sauce on a simple plain dough, cheese shreds, and hotdog sausage. Place the pizza in the mini oven for 15 minutes, volla, a pizza!
Never know it is so easy to bake a pizza, but well, from the visual, you and see I and my boy are not a born to be chefs as well. Maybe he might improve in the future, but not for me!





Last but not least, we didn't know there was this little girl is having her 1 year old birthday party. With almost 30 pax of adults and kids from our side, we didn't prepare any gift for the birthday girl. Oops, a surprise birthday party crash indeed!




Sorry, we crash the party. Hehe, the parents of the little girl prepared party packs, mini pasta with tomato or mushroom sauces, Birthday door gift - mini plastic egg with a toy character like ironman in it, a sticker book, and a pink water tumbler.





Little acorns at play is definitely a place for your children to play, learn, exposed to the maximum, with a proper guidance by the owner Tanny Tan and her beloved education assistant. 

I couldnt even grab hold of my big boy as he still refused to go back after the play session ends.
